He orders Marcus and Mario to grab their skateboards from their homes and get together to paint their old skateboards and make them look brand new. When I read this book I thought that it was sweet how the boys held hands when they were reaching the finishing line, in order to cross at the same time. This book is a simple story about friendship and how to make the most of a saturday. I would recommend this book because it is a simple story where the characters spend time with each other and enjoy their saturday painting, playing video games, and going to the park.
It is a great story that children can relate to because it may remind them of their group of friends and what they do on a typical saturday.
